Dirty Park

so on my way to Patra's (burger place, check out my other blog entry) i passed echo park so i took my camera along and thought id take a few pictures of the birds and whatever lurked around in that mystery water. for those of you who arent familiar with Echo Park let me tell you, its filthy! theres trash floating along the side of the water and bird crap everywhere. i met this japanese dude fishing there. ive heard that there are fish in the lake but ive never seen any, until today!

no fish were killed during this adventure. its a catch and release lake so he let the fish back.
