CAL-BOUND!

so this past friday me and my cousins took a road trip up to berkeley to see my other cousins graduation. nor cal was HELLA windy but being next to the ocean felt nice. we played this board game called Power Grid. we stayed up till 3 trying to finish this game! it was intense but i probably wont play it again... for a while atleast haha. we also checked out Fisermen's Warf in SF and my oh my. i forgot how good the clam chowder was! we also had the calamari! best part of the trip! sunday morning we went to farmers market and met up with diane. after dropping off diane at davis and picking up winston (her dog) we finally went home. lots and lots of driving but it was well worth it! i didnt want to post all of the pictures so you can check out my flickr here and even more pictures on my facebook. but these are just some of the pictures from my flickr

today in ceramics i actually did some work! i found alot of my pieces that were fired so i decided to glaze them. this is my composite piece, i was first going to use my bird (KEVN) but i didnt like how it came out so i made a new one. this bear that i have yet to name. i glazed it today so hopefully it comes out okay =/

and today i started my advertising class at art center. it was freaking intense! everyones more experienced and more fierce! haha this class should be interesting and productive. i need to stop being such an introvert and get out there. ill be updating my projects while i work! stay tunedd.

Patra's burger #2?

so today i went to Patras Burger in eagle rock. if it sounds familiar its because i already went to a Patras burgers in echo park and now i find out they have another location! i got a double cheeseburger with AVACADO (yumm) and it was bomb! if youre ever in the neighborhood (eagle rock) you should stop by. its on eagle rock blvd across the street from KIA motors.

and last night when i was filling up at a gas station near my house i saw this on the pump! its a bible verse from the book of psalm but i dont remember the verse. just thought it was neat!

not so mundane monday

so this morning i felt like fishing so i went fishing, cause i do what i want! haha i didnt feel like going far so i just drove to Echo Park which is about 4 minutes from my house in the middle of downtown los angeles.

this lake is one of the dirtiest lakes ive ever been to but i heard they produce big bass so i took my pole and got to work. i caught 2 largemouth bass! they were about 3 pounds each! they fight like a mother! i love fishing. im going again on friday with my dad to lake castaic. CANT WAIT!

big TWO OH!

this saturday was my twentieth birthday! im no longer a teen, its weird i dont remember living 20 years haha. so friday night after church we went to go watch ironman2 (which was good but not as good as i thought i'd be, 8/10) and Johnny (apple johnny) bought us all popcorn and drinks and stuff and the total came out to $107! damn the movie concession stands are making BANK! but anyways saturday i had lunch at Noshi Sushi in LA with my family. it was pretty damn good (and expensive) but not as good as others say. then i went up to La Crescenta to watch the Lakers game at some chinese food place called sun palace. food sucked but the game was intense! after the game i went over to fullerton to my friends were and we JUST played card games, JENGA and just hung out with the homies :D its good to be YOUNG.

im still trying to find a name/title for my photography stuff. please give me ideas!
so i went fishing today with my dad to lake Piru alittle past Valencia. we went with the intent of catching catfish but instead ending up fishing for large mouth bass. my dad caught 2 really nice sized large mouth bass, i didnt catch jack shet! haha it was fun so ill probably be going back sometime soon. and here are some pictures that in the past week (mostly are from the lake).
