I cant really put it in words but WE Americans are rude. When i think about my trips to Cambodia, Philippines and Bangladesh i miss the people. I miss how genuine their kindness was. Not the fake kind that you get from going to the airport or restaurant. Back in Bangladesh they knew how to Love one another. Id be embarrassed if they saw how we treat one another here in America. We are all capable of being good kind hearted people, we're just too lazy to try.
and go watch this movie. GOD GREW TIRED OF US imdb
So me and my best friend were (past tense) having some issues with some girls so we decided to make a pact. We decided not to get "emotionally attached" to anyone until May 28th. I know its really short but we didnt want to be over ambitious and go for a whole year cold turkey so we're taking baby steps. This is probably the second or third time we had the same pact! haha So right now im super bitter so i thought that i'd list some things i've learned in the last 20 years.
1. Girls are evil. 2. Girls dont know what they want, they only know what they DONT want. 3. "No really, I'm fine." in girl talk really means "I'm saving this one for later fight." 4. Dont go on double dates, if you have to make sure the other guys a prick to his girl. 5. If 8 out of 10 tweets are about how much you hate your bf/gf its time to break up. 6. BEWARE of big sunglasses, they can make a mediocre 6 look like a solid 8.5! 7. Dont be outdo yourself on the first date or else you'll have to live up to that forever. 8. There is no such thing as a perfect couple. 9. Frenching your girlfriend for the first time in front of your whole school is a bad idea. 10. Dont go on blind dates set up by your on of your ex's. 11. Dont talk about how you use to go bowling all the time with your ex when you take your gf bowling. 12. Couple shirts are stupid. 13. If your girl doesnt want to take pictures with you its probably not the best sign. 14. Theres no such thing as a once sided relationship, thats not a relationship. 15. Emo songs start making sense when you break up with your girlfriend. 16. Dont just settle for someone cause youre lonely, you'll just end up regretting it or cheating. 17. Be honest. 18. Its better to be with the "right girl" rather than the "better" one. 19. When youre sprung everything feels like "love", get an outside perspective. 20. My wife is gonna be smoking HOT!
So this is how far I've gotten on my project bike. Its been almost a month now and so far i've stripped the paint, disassembled and cleaned the carburetor and thats about it. Im planning on putting the carbs back together and getting the changing the spark plugs tomorrow to see if she starts! Should be exciting... ill keep you guys posted.
...there was scrap! so today i finally picked up my motorcycle and brought it to my dads house. lets be completely honest here, its a piece of junk! the bike is from 76' and its all over the place. its a 1976 Honda cb550. this is what its suppose to look like and this is what it looks like right now... so pretty much its gonna be a long time before i get to ride this sucker! i would list all the work that needs to be done but i know ill be up all night typing so i wont! i will leave you with this, my inspiration and vision for this bike when shes done!
Ive been wanting a motorcycle for quite a while now. A cafe racer to be exact! For the past two weeks me and my friends have been trying to rebuild/revive my other friends 1980 Honda CB750. so picture 4 "post-highschool" guys with no mechanical background messing around with a bike thats ten years older than us, lets just say its been very interesting and educational. Now all i think about these days are bikes, bikes bikes girls, and more bikes! haha but after working on his bike i started really really REALLY wanting to get a bike so i impulsively signed up for motorcycle class! (if you guys are thinking about getting a motorcycle license you should really look into this class) its a 15 hour class, and if you pass you arent required to take the driven part of the test when getting your license. But anyway working on his bikes been a ton of fun and really got me thinking that i could do it too. we're still working on his bike and hopefully he can fix it up sell it make some money and buy a better one! haha
oh yeah by the way... i just bought my first bike! IM IMPULSIVE.
